After his immense success with self-modified Fender strats (aka FRANKENSTEIN...) and a short collaboration with Wayne Charvel in the early 80s, Eddie Van Halen always chose his own way - not only with his unique playing style, but also equipment-wise:

But finally in 2004/2005 a limited number of instruments were made by Charvel as part of the EVH Art Series in three different colour schemes (black/yellow, black/white and black/red/white).

After many years, Eddie himself was working together again with the guys from the Charvel custom shop to give birth to these great instruments, bringing back the 80s vibe with outstanding graphics and great playability.

Here the c-shape neck profile is definitly a reminiscence of FRANKY! A must-have for all Eddie Van Halen fans.
